Now is the time for Congress to pass health care reform because it includes the Medicare payment updates for nursing homes and home health providers, improvements in Medicaid home and community-based services, and the CLASS provisions, will help seniors and people with disabilities. American families cannot wait any longer for relief. We need health reform now.

Advocacy  Urge your member of Congress to protect Section 202 senior housing program and provide much needed funding for development in FY11. Last year's appropriations legislation for FY10 Section 202 funding was $825 million, including a $60 million increase over FY09. The FY11 budget proposes a $550 million reduction and a suspension of the program for FY11. We need your help. Contact Congress. |
